90 NA, getting detonation after engine gets hot (gets worse the longer I run it). Just moved to Las Vegas, only noticed it when outside temp is >95 after driving awhile...temp gauge says everything is OK though. I've checked the timing (15 degrees), but it moves around about 1-2 degrees at idle. I know about the 1990 engine problems with CAS & what not, I have 160K miles now. R2 the CAS unit, no help. Checked cylinder pressure, #1 & #4 were low, but I'm hoping to avoid a rebuild at this point. I've searched on the forum, and I'm out of thoughts. Anyone have any other ideas short of taking it in to a Z place? I don't know of anyone in Las Vegas I'd trust my baby to... Any help would be great!
